QA Europe 2024 is one of the largest onsite QA conferences in Warsaw.

The first edition launches on November 14, 2024, at ul. Emilii Plater 53 (on the 23rd floor) in the center of Warsaw. It is aimed at IT professionals who want to find their way around the world of the latest technologies, tools, and businesses.

The event brings together QA, testers, consultants, programmers, AI specialists and representatives of large companies.

Od dwudziestu pięciu lat zajmuje się testowaniem oraz niezawodnością oprogramowania i sprzętu komputerowego. Jest absolwentem Instytutu Informatyki na Wydziale Elektroniki i Technik Informacyjnych Politechniki Warszawskiej. Pracując dla firm Matrix.pl, IMPAQ oraz Infovide zorganizował i kierował działami Zapewnienia Jakości. Obecnie pracuje dla AmberTeam Testing, gdzie dba o to, żeby kierownicy działów IT oraz kierownicy projektów spali spokojnie mając pod kontrolą ryzyko projektowe. Posiada siedem certyfikatów ISTQB. Prowadzi szkolenia z zakresu testowania. Pracował również jako nauczyciel przedmiotów związanych z elektroniką i informatyką. Działa czynnie na rzecz propagowania wiedzy i kultury jakości produkcji oprogramowania. Pomysłodawca, założyciel i były członek Zarządu Stowarzyszenia Jakości Systemów Informatycznych. Pomysłodawca i organizator pierwszych edycji konferencji Testwarez i ConSelenium. Jest współautorem książki „Agile Testing Foundations: An ISTQB Foundation Level Agile Tester guide”.

Od ponad 10 lat zajmuję się testowaniem funkcjonalnym w technologi python i Robot Framework. Zaczynałem jako tester automatyzujący, a następnie jako architekt i developer dal potrzeb TAF dostarczałem kompleksowe środowisko testowe, obecnie pełnię rolę Test Automation Lead. W swojej codziennej pracy rezultat testów traktuje jako owoc rozwijanego test frameworka. Szerzę ideę, że TAF jest wewnętrznym produktem firmy i powinien być rozwijany tak samo jak każdy inny produkt. Z przymrużeniem oka jestem fanatykiem powiedzenia „jeżeli coś jest użyte dwa razy, musi być globalne”. Prywatnie fan IoT i motocyklista.

Od czasów wczesnoszkolnych wiązała swoją przyszłość ze środowiskiem IT. Marzenie to zrealizowała studiując na Politechnice Poznańskiej na kierunku Informatyka. Swoją zawodową wędrówkę rozpoczęła kilka lat temu. Na początku było to testowanie, ale gdzieś zawsze pojawiały się stanowiska związane również z koordynacją pracy oraz zarządzaniem ludźmi. Posiada certyfikacje z zakresu testowania jak i prowadzenia projektów. Stawia na komunikatywność i indywidualne oraz grupowe docenianie współpracowników, ze wskazaniem ich mocnych stron i odpowiednim ukierunkowaniem. W swoim zespole stawia na relacje partnerskie bazujące nie tylko na autorytecie przełożonego, ale również rodzinnej atmosferze. W wolnym czasie czyta książki kryminalne lub ogląda seriale. Ponadto jak tylko pogoda pozwala wyrusza na spacery ze swoimi psiakami. W 2020 roku razem z Karoliną Pawłowską stworzyła markę Fun with bugs. Pod tym szyldem napisały i wydały w modelu self-publishingu książkę „Podróż przez świat testowania”, która w lekki i zabawny sposób uczy testowania. Książka pomogła już setkom osób w przebranżowieniu się i wejściu do IT.

 

Monika Leszczyńska-Stopa

A certified QA Engineer with over 3 years of experience in both web and mobile apps. Passionate and curious, she believes that every experience holds value, embodying the principle of „always look on the bright side of life.” As a quality guardian, she ensures high standards in applications by blending technical expertise with an understanding of human factors.
Her background as a Social Rehabilitation Pedagogue and English teacher uniquely equips her to manage both technical and interpersonal aspects in her role. She is dedicated to fostering strong relationships within the team, always seeing the human side in every developer.
Outside of work, she is a devoted dog mom, actively pursuing dog training and agility sports. She also enjoys nature and loves exploring the outdoors on forest hikes.

I’m an architect with over 10 years of experience in IT & Development within Java/Scala/TypeScript. A fan of automation, focused on cooperation between dev teams and customers with an emphasis on QA and testing. Personally, I am a fresh adept of scuba diving and a father of two daughters, which consumes the majority of my free time.

 

Szymon Wałachowski

Software Engineer, BEC

Software Engineer with passion for all technologies (JVM, Mainframe, Blockchain, ML) and best practices. Years of experience have not only instilled in me a deep appreciation for QA, but also a profound understanding that in software development, embracing the old is as crucial as chasing the new. That’s why I think that legacy systems, far from being relics, are treasure troves of engineering wisdom.
